My grading is based on the points scale with a variety of materials that will be graded. Below is an example of a typical cumulative of points for one quarter.(note: the point values and number of assignments are subject to change)

3 quizzes	30 points	90 points
2 notebook checks	50 points	100 points
25 homework assignments	10 points	250 points
10 labs	20 points	200 points

98 -95	A
94 - 93	A-
92 - 91	B+
90 - 87	B
86 - 85	B-
84 - 83	C+
82 - 77	C
76 - 75	C-
74	D+
