Test Taking Tips
Be prepared!
- Be familar with the layout of the test and the proper materials needed
Be an active test taker!
- Read the question carefully
- Examine any text or graphics that go with the question (never avoid them!)
- Read ALL responses before making a choice
- Eliminate and cross-out the wrong choices
- Circle any possible answers
- Do not guess immediately, you can always go back to problems
Be in good shape to take a test!
- Relax at the end of every page and take a moment to breathe! There is plenty of time to take the test.
- Get plenty of sleep
- Eat a good breakfast
Be sure to go over your answers!
- Do not leave any blanks on the test
