Grades will be based on homework, quizzes, tests, labs, journals, and class participation.
All work is to be handed in on the due date, late work is not accepted. In return, you will have a minimal of two day notice on all assignments and labs. Quizzes and tests will be announced approximately five days in advance.
Make-up work form an absence will be placed in the appropriate folder in the classroom. All make-up work is due within a week. Make-up work is your own responsibility, see me if you need help.
At the end of every quarter there will be a binder check. The contents and organization of your binder will be worth a 100 point assignment.
Many of the homework assignments will be evaluated on a checkmark scale. See the handout during the first week of class to explain this procedure.
All grades are recorded as total points earned.

All students will be provided and required to keep all of their grades on an Assignment Grade Sheet.
