The ImageJ mailing list
is an unmoderated discussion group for users and developers of ImageJ. It is a
forum to discuss ImageJ-related issues and get general interest technical questions answered.
Subscribing
To subscribe send the command
subscribe imagej yourfirstname yourlastname
in the body of an email message addressed to
listserv@list.nih.gov.
Sending Messages
To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list,
just send mail to
imagej@list.nih.gov.
This is called "sending mail to
the list", because you send mail to a single address and LISTSERV makes
copies for all the people who have subscribed. You should never
try to send any command to this address, as it would be distributed to
all the people who have subscribed. All commands should be sent to
listserv@list.nih.gov.
Leaving the List
You may leave the list at any time by sending a "UNSUBSCRIBE IMAGEJ" command
to
listserv@list.nih.gov.
List Archives
Contributions sent to this list are automatically archived and made available
on the Web at
http://list.nih.gov/archives/imagej.html.
Digest Form
To receive a digested version of the postings, send a "SET IMAGEJ DIGEST" command
to listserv@list.nih.gov.
Privacy
Please note that it is presently possible for other people to determine
that you are signed up to the list through the use of the "REVIEW"
command, which returns the e-mail address and name of all the
subscribers. If you do not want your name to be visible, just issue a
"SET IMAGEJ CONCEAL" command.
