Oliver the Parrotlet

Oliver is a parrotlet, a true parrot, "The smallest in the world

Indigenous to Central and South AmericaGreen with Indigo and turquoise featherws in the wild

Color mutations observed in captivitiy, includ several shades of blue, yellow, Lutino (pale yellow w/red eyes), white and cinammon

In capitivity this bird may live 20 + years

Eats nutritinally complete pellets- Oliver loves millett, whole wheat bread, cheerios, strawberries, broccoli, lettuce and muffins

very affectionate and capable of developing a loving relationship with his "people"

Can be very feisty and luts us know that his cage is his home.

Is capable of talking

  4. You're a stinker - his favorite
  5. You're silly.
  6. your're silly
  7. you're such a goood boy
  8. Hmmmm yum yum yum
  9. Excellent
