What is the difference between men and women? Lets discuss this in class. Sporogenesis - the production of spores. Cells that are going into meiosis are very similar if not identical to cells going into mitosis. Meiosis in a plant with diagrams.
The most significant difference between Meiosis and Mitosis is Prophase I where the Chromosomes Pair up or Synapse.
