RNA synthesis follows from DNA synthesis because RNA is the primer.
RNA polymerase binds to a promoter site to start RNA synthesis
The polymerase transcribes until it finds a termination loop or hairpin.
RNA has two major categories of function.
tRNA - Transfer RNA -transfers the amino acid to the growing peptide chain from the cellular milieu.
