Dave Bonner got his BS in Physics from Miami U in 2002, then stayed on to earn a MEd in Education from Miami in 2004. He is a founding member of the Miami MOTsquad, and worked on the saturated absorption spectroscopy setups for the trapping and repumping lasers. As a Master's student he played an important role in setting up our refractometer for optical sensing. After working for an year as a High School teacher in Chicago, he joined the graduate program in education at the University of Illinois.
