7490 EARTH AND SPACE SCIENCE

Earth
and Space Science is a ninth grade elective class designed to help students
become more knowledgeable about our natural world. Students will work with
many varieties of maps, develop lab techniques to identify rocks and minerals,
investigate the processes that create landscape, develop understanding of
the dynamic processes of our atmosphere, and study the geologic history of
our planet and it’s life forms. Students will be encouraged to develop
problems solving strategies, study techniques, and group cooperation skills
that will become important life skills.
