1.  Goggles must be worn when heating glassware, working with chemicals, etc... Whenever there is a risk of injury to your eyes, you must wear goggles!!!

2.  Don't attempt to use broken or cracked glassware. Please dispose of it properly.

3.  Because this is a science classroom, no eating or drinking at any time.

4.   Please ask me before you dispose of any materials used in lab. Many chemicals and other items should not go down the sink!!!

5.  No equipment, materials, etc... should leave the classroom for any reason (unless otherwise instructed).

6.  Know the location of fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and other safety equipment.

7.  Make sure your lab area is clean, and all materials are put away when you are finished.

8.  Always wash your hands before leaving the lab!!!

By following these simple instructions, there should be no problems when performing lab activities. Failure to follow these rules will result in disciplinary action!!
