Your grade will be calculated by points.  Total points earned will be divided by total points possible.  This will be multiplied by 100 to yield a percent.  The letter grade for each percent will be determined by using the district grading scale.

Almost every assignment and activity completed in class or at home will be given a point value and graded.  There will be a wide variety of activities to present the information using various methods.  This also allows students to have activities that are catered towards their strengths.  Some of the activities will include keeping a notebook, tests, quizzes, labs, creative applications, debates, personal opinion writing assignments, research, computer work, review worksheets, etc.
